Public Transport to the Haus der Wissenschaft:

From Braunschweig Hauptbahnhof/Central Station (Hotel Mercure) bus line M19 runs at 10-minute-intervals to Pockelsstraße (11-minutes-ride).

From Braunschweig City Centre (Best Western Hotel StadtPalais, Mövenpick Hotel, Penta Hotel) it is a 5-minutes-ride on tram line M1 (direction Wenden) or tram line M2 (direction Siegfriedviertel) to Mühlenpfordstraße. The walking distance from the city center (Rathaus) to the Haus der Wissenschaft is about 20 minutes.

The Icebreaker on Monday evening (June 3) took place at Gastwerk and was attended by 110 delegates who enjoyed Rodízio, Brazilian-style meat cut off the skewer right at the tables. The location was an old restored red brick industrial building, which once housed the Pantherwerke AG, one of Germany's biggest bicylce companies.

The Conference Dinner on Tuesday evening (June 4) took place at Waldhaus Oelper (Am Ölper Holze 1, 38116 Braunschweig), which is located 5 km outside the city centre. About 190 delegates enjoyed this wonderful event, the reception on the lawn in front of the Waldhaus, the great variety at the buffet, the live music of Mr. Max Möllhoff (vocals) and Mr. Ansgar Brockamp (piano) and the great atmosphere in the bar downstairs.
