Conference history
The inaugural meeting of eata (European Asphalt Technology Association)
was held on the 6th – 7th July 2004 at the Nottingham Royal Moat House Hotel,
Nottingham (UK) and was attended by 99 delegates. 11 papers were presented at
the meeting and published in the International Journal of Road Materials and Pavement Design (RMPD).
The second meeting was held on the 3rd – 4th May 2006 at Meriden, Warwickshire (UK).
It was attended by 67 delegates from 17 countries. 9 Papers were presented and fully discussed,
having already been peer reviewed and published in the Second Special EATA issue of RMPD.
The third meeting was held on the 14th – 15th April 2008 at the Centre of Congress in Lyon (France).
The fourth meeting of eata took place at the Faculty of Engineering of the University Campus in Parma (Italy)
in 2010.
The fifth meeting took place in
the city of Braunschweig, Germany, organized by the ISBS
(Braunschweig Engineering Pavement Centre) from the 3rd -
5th June 2013.
The sixth meeting
will be held in Stockholm, Sweden in June 2015.
